For every Child: A Home, A School, A Future
Friends Indeed works in India, where more than 300 million children with family live under the poverty line of one dollar. Children of whom many don't attend school, have little to eat, have a disability, HIV-aids, or no roof over their heads.
We have developed an approach for a area with 15 remote fishers villages on the east coast of India; in this area live approximately 10,000 children. We help with providing quality education, water, sanitation, and healthcare. Besides, we have launched a fight against poverty and aim to reach the millennium goals. The projects reinforce each other and that gives an added value.
Overview of the program in the fishers area

We started working in the fishers area’s in 2003. We also started our program in the tribal area ARAKU in 2009.
